"I'm so excited to be working with the Music Therapy Trust Fund," says Darrelle London. "I know from experience about the capacity for music to be cathartic and healing. I've been learning about the therapy work that this organization supports and I'm very moved by the significant effect it has on peoples' lives."

Wanda Gascho-White, MTA, Chair of the Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund had this to say about Darrelle's involvement, "The Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund (CMTTF) is thrilled that this bright young musician has made a commitment to help us achieve our vision: To create better lives through the transformative power of music therapy".

Named Bell Emerging Artist for May 2012, Darrelle London's unique voice and playful songs has garnered the support from the likes of A-list celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and Canadian icon Sarah McLachlan. On her latest album, London had the privilege to collaborate with multi-faceted Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk. The two met in 2010 and wrote three songs together, which included the brand new radio single "Ceila". Of her sessions with Darrelle, Kreviazuk says, "she sings from her heart, and her gentle unique approach to music is so special, it is a pleasure to be immersed in."
